Dedicated, Passionate Representation In Georgia Disability Law

If you suffer from a disability that has left you unable to work, life may feel like a constant uphill struggle. Government programs exist to provide financial relief, but qualifying for benefits is often much more difficult than it should be. The reassuring news is that you don’t need to take on these challenges alone. Instead, contact Lisa Smith Siegel, Attorney at Law, in Sandy Springs.

I founded my firm more than 12 years ago to help clients across Georgia navigate the complexities of programs like Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income. In total, I bring more than three decades of legal experience to each case, as well as a dedication to personalized service and attention.

Disability Law: Lived Experience And A Passion For Educating Others

My daily practice is dedicated to serving clients with disabilities, a subject I came to with personal as well as professional experience. Earlier in my career, I was a personal injury litigator, and many of my clients suffered long-term or permanent disabilities as a result of their injuries.

For many years, I also coordinated care for my aging parents, including my father, who became disabled following a stroke. I understand just how difficult it can be for individuals and their families to live with the daily realities of disability. It is an honor to alleviate some of the financial burdens by helping clients obtain SSDI and SSI benefits, including appealing denied claims.

In addition to my direct work with clients, I am also a legal educator. I have been invited to speak on numerous occasions to health care professionals throughout Georgia on topics related to disability law.
