To create an account, log on to SocialSecurity.gov/myaccount and select Sign in or Create an Account. Next, select Create an Account, and agree to the Social Security Administration’s terms and conditions. You can select a username and password that you’ll later use to access your account. The next step is to create your account details and choose how you want to receive the security code. When you receive the security code, either via your e-mail address or cell phone, enter it in the space provided and press Submit.
